Naik was speaking at a function organized by Goa Kshashtriya Maratha Samaj at Chattratej hall to celebrate Shiv Jayanti.
“Goa Kshastriya Maratha Samaj has progressed over the years because of the good work done by its office bearers and proper guidance given by them to their members. The members of the Samaj should forget their political differences and work unitedly for prosperity of the Samaj,” said Naik.
Guest of honour, young industrialist Rajesh Tarkar said a life without an aim is meaningless. “In order to shape up their lives, one must not only have a proper aim in life, but they should also have a profound desire to achieve it.”
“Once the goal is set, thoughts and efforts get channelized automatically in that direction, leading towards the target. There is no harm in dreaming big things,
but they should strive hard to achieve those dreams,” added Tarkar.
On the occasion, the students who excelled in different examinations were felicitated by Minister Naik. Prizes to the winners of fancy dress, Rangoli and Fugdi competitions were also given away by the guests.
