The Personnel Department on Tuesday issued an order of temporary transfer of around 23 Joint Mamlatdars and Mamlatdars for new posting during the Lok Sabha Elections.
The officers have been asked to take up the new posting with immediate effect.
Transfers are as per direction of EC which mandates that officers must be transferred from one district to the other.
Since Goa is small State the officers are transferred from one Taluka to another.
“The officers shall join their postings immediately without availing joining time”, says the order issued by Under Secretary personnel Harish Adconkar.
“The officers shall report back to the post as indicated in the column (3) after the general election to the house of the People (Lok Sabha) 2019 process is complete”, says the order.
