The Crime Branch issued fresh summons to Pooja Sharma asking her to appear before the SIT on July 1.
Sources said the SIT has prepared a set of questions including whether she gave instructions to demolish the house at Assagao and if the bouncers were hired by her. Although the accused woman and Agarwadekar have now allegedly come to terms over the issue, the CB said the investigation will continue even as they are examining the affidavit of compromise between the two parties.
Pooja, wife of intelligence officer posted in a South East Asian country, was issued notice at her residence in Mumbai. The Anjuna police team returned empty handed after which the CB issued the fresh notice
The Agarwadekar family’s statement was recorded on Thursday, and they are likely to be summoned by CB again for a supplementary statement under Section 161 CrPC.
Meanwhile, in a further development, CB registered a separate FIR against bouncer Mohd Imran Salmani from Cortalim for tampering with the number plate and documents of an Innova car that was found during the demolition. The bouncer, who is among five bouncers arrested, is serving police custody.
CB is in search of original owner of the seized car.
