The Summit is the flagship annual event of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community. It brings together youth leaders and curators from more than 450 hubs across 140 countries and territories, forming a network of over 11,000 young changemakers worldwide.
The Global Shapers Panaji Hub is Goa’s only hub under this global network. It is a youth-led group focused on driving social impact through community initiatives that support sustainable development. The Hub works on local challenges while connecting Goa to a global community of young leaders.
One of its key initiatives, Project DhanWise, is led by Pranali Naik. The programme promotes financial literacy among students, women, and underserved communities. It covers topics such as budgeting, saving, digital financial services, investments, entrepreneurship, fraud awareness, and long-term financial planning through workshops and outreach programmes.
Pranali is a social impact professional with experience in programme management, CSR partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and government collaboration. She has worked with corporate, government, educational, and non-profit organisations to design and deliver community development projects.
Speaking about the opportunity, she said, “It is an honour to represent Goa at the Global Shapers Annual Summit and engage with young leaders from around the world. This platform offers a chance to learn, collaborate, and bring new ideas back to Goa. I hope to strengthen youth leadership, community development, and financial inclusion through our work at the Global Shapers Panaji Hub.”
Pranali Naik is the daughter of Goan theatre, film, and tiatr personality Pradeep Anand Naik. She holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) degree and has been selected for a Master’s in Development (2026–2028) at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru.
Her participation marks an important milestone for Goa’s youth leadership, highlighting the state’s growing role in global conversations on social innovation, community resilience, and sustainable development.
