Prayer service for sick at Sancoale sanctuary on February 8

The Holy Mass with the breaking of the Word of God and special prayers for the sick will be held at the Sanctuary of St Joseph Vaz at Sancoale on Friday, February 8.   

The first Mass is at 7 am, followed by the Prayer Service before the Most Blessed Sacrament at 7.45 am. The second Mass begins at 9 am, after which the Prayer Service resumes and ends by 11.30 am. The third Mass is at 4 pm at the Oratory Room of St Joseph Vaz.   

On other Fridays of every month (first, third and fourth), Masses are celebrated at 7 am and 8.45 am at the Sanctuary and 4 pm at the Oratory Room of St Joseph Vaz.   

Sick are prayed over on these Fridays from 10 am to 12 noon. The exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament is held at the Sanctuary for Silent Adoration on every First Friday of the month from 6 pm to 8 pm, which concludes with the Solemn Blessing of the Sacrament.   

Childless couples, pregnant mothers and sick children are prayed over on every third Sunday of the month after 9 am Mass. Sunday anticipatory Mass is held on every Saturday at 6.15 pm in English. Sunday Masses are held at 7 am and 9 am and Weekday Mass at 7 am, Fr Dias added.
