Questions raised over logic of taking up hot-mixing work at Margao during rains

Town and Country Planning Minister, Vijai Sardesai on Friday launched hot-mixing work of the Holy Spirit Church square-Sonsodo road at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore, but heavy pre-monsoon showers that lashed the city in the evening raised questions of taking up the hot mixing work during rains.

“I had promised to complete the road hot mixing work before the onset of monsoon. The entire work will be completed right up to Sonsodo within five days,” Sardesai said.
