There’s good news for Madgavkars and people of South Goa in general. The Rawanfond Bridge will be finally thrown open for vehicular traffic in October this year.
Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) Chairman, MLA Michael Lobo told the media here on Thursday that the work on the Rawanfond bridge is nearing completion and the bridge will be inaugurated in October.
The GSIDC Chairman further said that the GSIDC is bracing up to inaugurate a couple of projects in Margao and elsewhere in the state by October. “Since I took over as GSIDC Chairman, we have inaugurated around 15 projects. Another 14 projects are in the pipeline for inauguration. Around 5-6 projects are ready for inauguration,” he said.
