Reforms needed in education: CM

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday advocated the need for reforms in the educational syllabus in the State to achieve excellence.


PONDA: 
“We have to deeply ponder where we are lacking. Since the last 50 years, par excellence is not seen. But though there wasn’t enough infrastructure earlier, excellence was there,” said Parrikar, who also holds the education portfolio. 
“Let us not continue with normal education. We need quality education to bring excellence in the society,” he said.

Will seek clarity from CM on beef ban issue today: Francis
