The Old Market residence of Aldona MLA Adv Carlos Alvares Ferreira was the cynosure of all eyes.
The Digambar Kamat camp and the rival group comprising of GPCC chief Amit Patkar and ex-GPCC president Girish Chodankar reached the residence of the Aldona MLA.
While Kamat came to see Carlos after calling on Nuvem MLA Aleixo Sequeira, the Amit-Girish duo headed to his residence after the Congress meeting at Hotel Majestic. Girish told The Goan that he and Patkar had called on the Aldona MLA in view of the political developments unfolding in the State. In fact, Patkar and Girish exuded confidence that the Aldona MLA will stay put in the Congress and will not leave the party to embrace the BJP.
Digambar, on the other hand, said he had just paid a courtesy visit on Carlos, after paying a visit to the Nuvem MLA.
