Traffic congestion and business activities on the main road leading to the village figured prominently at the Rumdamol village gram sabha on Sunday.
The meeting chaired by Sarpanch Mubina Faniband saw members drawing attention of the chair to the presence of hawkers and their business activities on the main road, from the Maruti Temple to the Anjuman school complex.
It was pointed out by the members that the main road needs to be kept free from vendors and hawkers to reduce traffic congestion on the busy road.
The sarpanch has promised to take action against the illegal hawking activities on the main road.
