A Russian national who arrived in Goa on a business visa was deported this week for overstaying after failing to provide details of his business activities, including revenue and other professional information, within the stipulated period, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) said.
In a separate case, officials said the FRRO lodged an Australian national at the Mapusa detention centre on Thursday after he was convicted of overstaying his tourist visa. The deportation process against him have begun.
