The iron bridge connecting Budruk Karmali and Temwada in Savarde-Sattari has rusted badly, making it dangerous for commuters.

Residents have expressed concern that serious accidents could occur during the monsoon and have demanded that the damaged metal sheets on the bridge be replaced immediately. They have appealed to local panchayat members and authorities to take urgent action.

According to sources, the bridge is used daily by many residents travelling between Budruk Karmali and Temwada. However, several of the metal sheets fitted on the bridge have rusted, with holes appearing in many places. This has increased the risk of people slipping or getting injured, especially during the rainy season.

Locals said the issue had already been brought to the attention of the authorities earlier, but no concrete action has been taken so far. With the monsoon approaching, residents fear the bridge could pose a serious threat to public safety.

Citizens have also reportedly informed the local MLA about the condition of the bridge, but the rusted sheets are yet to be replaced.
