Arguments in the anticipatory bail applications filed by Santosh Rajput and Kalidas Vaingankar resumed in the South Goa Sessions Court on Tuesday before Sessions Judge Irshad Agha.
When the matter came up for hearing before the court, the defence lawyers representing the two applicants advanced their arguments in support of the anticipatory bail plea. After partly hearing the arguments, Judge Irshad Agha adjourned the hearing of arguments to September 15.
The duo had moved the court for anticipatory bail after the Verna police registered an FIR against them for allegedly installing an idol of a Hindu deity at old Sancoale Church.
