
On the occasion of Gudi Padwa, the beautification project of Shri Devi Sateri Kelbai Aajoba Devasthan at Keri-Sattari was inaugurated. Health Minister Vishwajit Rane highlighted the significance of the festival, emphasising positivity, self-confidence, and skill development.
He stated that the Gudi symbolises victory, success, and new beginnings, inspiring people to overcome negativity and move toward progress. Temples, he added, serve as centers of values and social guidance and must be preserved.
Public Works Minister Digambar Kamat said that Gudi Padwa marks the beginning of the New Year and brings a message of hope, energy, and positivity. The festival encourages people to forget past setbacks and start afresh with new goals.
Water Resources Minister Subhash Shirodkar described Gudi Padwa as a festival that promotes social unity and urged people to begin the year with positive thoughts and strong resolutions.
MLA Dr Deviya Rane noted that temples play a vital role in preserving cultural values and social harmony, and called upon the youth to take responsibility for safeguarding traditions.
During the event, several dignitaries were felicitated. The program concluded with a musical evening, “Swar Sandhya,” featuring singers Prathamesh Laghate and Mugdha Vaishampayan, which captivated the audience.
