Scouts camp at Tilamol
CURCHOREM: The Our Lady of Health High School at Cuncolim conducted a one-day scout camp for 91 boys of Std 9 at Nirmal nature camp site of Goa Bharat Scouts and Guides at Tilamol-Quepem.
The day began with hoisting of the flag and the scouts promise, followed by the nature trail.
A cooking competition was organised for the patrol groups, where the boys prepared food items. In the evening, there were adventurous activities.
At the valedictory function, Goa State Bharat Scout and Guide secretary James Fernandes addressed the boys and distributed prizes.
The best discipline camper prize was awarded to Vilber Rego and camper with complete scout uniform throughout the day was given to Shwan Fernandes. Scout in-charge teacher Veli Fernandes, scout master and PE teacher Kartik Lokapure, senior teacher Anthony and teacher Reny Pereira were present.
