Seminar on credit to MSME
PANAJI: The MSME sector, despite its significant contributions of the MSME sector, continues to face certain constraints. Credit to MSME sector has always been the priority area for the policy makers in the country and the government of India has shown strong commitment to double the credit flow to this sector in the next five years.
To discuss the steps taken by RBI in this regard and also to explain various facilities offered by the Bank to MSMEs, Oriental Bank of Commerce in association with MSME – DI, Margao and Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organising a seminar on ‘Flow of Credit to MSME’ on February 9, at 5 pm at GCCI Convention Hall, Panaji. SC Das (general manager) and RK Punj (dy general manager) of Oriental Bank of Commerce will speak at the seminar. Dr Sangam Kurade, (president FISME) will be the chief guest and GR Akadas (director MSME-DI, Goa) the guest of honour.
