The Porvorim police station in association with Cyber Crime police station of Goa Police organised an awareness programme for senior citizens on the topic ‘Cyber Crimes/frauds in society’, in Porvorim on Tuesday evening.
DySP of Cyber Crime Ashish Shirodkar, Police Inspector of Cyber Crime Deepak Pednekar. PI Vidyanand Pawar and Porvorim Police Inspector Rahul Parab were present at the awareness programme.
Around 100 senior citizens attended the awareness programme and were briefed about insights into cyber security and prevention from cyber frauds.
The session was interactive and the senior citizens put forth queries which were answered by the police officials.
