A heated argument over a bill escalated into violence at Princy Bar & Restaurant in Baina, Vasco, leaving one man with serious injuries.
According to a complaint lodged by Anthony Mendes, a resident of Shantinagar, Vasco, the incident occurred on November 6, around 11:00 p.m. The accused, identified as Aman Memon from Baina, allegedly attacked Savio D' Cruz, also of Shantinagar, with a broken glass bottle, causing a severe neck injury on the left side. The argument reportedly arose over a payment dispute at the bar.
Mormugao police have registered a case under Section 109 of the BNS Act 2023. The accused, Aman Memon, has been arrested and is currently held in police lock-up. The case is under investigation, led by PSI Stanley Gomes of Mormugao Police Station.
