Shah has exposed BJP govt on Mhadei match-fixing: Borkar

OLD GOA
St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar has stated that the statement of Amit Shah has exposed the State BJP government’s match-fixing with Karnataka BJP government on Mhadei.

Speaking to The Goan, Borkar said that the Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) has been stating for long that the State BJP government is hand-in-gloves with the Karnataka government in diverting the waters of Mhadei.

“And Amit Shah’s statement at a public meeting in Karnataka has only proved us right and exposed the State BJP government’s match-fixing with the Karnataka BJP government on Mhadei,” Borkar said.

“CM Pramod Sawant has no right to continue in the chair and he should tender his resignation as his lies on Mhadei have been exposed by Shah’s startling revelation that Sawant was consulted on diversion of Mhadei waters,” the RGP MLA said.

When questioned on the way forward now for RGP,  Borkar said that the party would continue with its Together for Mhadei Movement (TFMM) to kindle opposition to the attempts by Karnataka to divert the Mhadei river.
