Shantaram calls for CM, Shah’s arrest

State Congress president Shantaram Naik has called for the arrest of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and BJP national president Amit Shah in view of the preliminary observations of the High Court.

"In view of the prima facie observations made by the High Court, BJP national President Shri Amit Shah and Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar should be arrested from criminal trespass for encroaching on Civil Airport premises and for violation of Defence of India Act for trespassing into land in occupation of Navy.
It is shocking that former Defence Minister has no regard for the Defence of India Act," Naik said while speaking to media persons.
