The BJP block of Shiroda will pay homage to former chief minister late Manohar Parrikar on Sunday and Tuesday.
The programmes to pay homage to the departed leader have been organised in different areas of Shiroda constituency.
Shiroda BJP block president Suraj Naik informed that programms will be held in Bori, Shiroda, Betoda, Nirankal and Panchwadi of Shiroda constituency.
“We will pay our tributes to late Parrikar on Sunday. He always guided us and his death is a big loss,” Naik said.
The program will start from Panchwadi at 11 am on March 24. Later at 4 pm, the program has been organised in Raghavendra Swami hall in Borim.
According to Naik, the ashes of Parrikar will reach Bethora on Tuesday and it will be immersed in the Zuari river.
