PANAJI: The tourism department is going to launch an app which will facilitate people to lodge complaints about hawkers, beggars and drunken persons creating nuisance on beaches.
The Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Tourism Manohar ‘Babu’ Ajgaonkar held a meeting with officials and took various measures, primarily for tourism stakeholders and shack owners, to maintain a proper discipline along beaches.
The main decision taken during the meeting was to create a app for informing any violations of the Shack Policy 2019-2021.
