The Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development said that the central government is taking steps to find a solution to the problem.
"In order to check arbitrary and whimsical functioning of private schools in the country, we (the Centre) have asked the State governments (to set up regulatory bodies)" Kushwaha told reporters here.
Such a regulatory mechanism has come up in several States and Bihar should also have one, he said.
He said the CBSE has issued guidelines to schools to check any irregularity following the killing of a class II boy inside a toilet of a private school in Gurugram recently.
If required, the school concerned could be de-affiliated, the minister added.
Kushwaha also said that his party has submitted a 25-point memorandum to Bihar govt that includes this issue of the regulatory mechanism.

on SWAYAM portal
PANAJI: The deadline for untrained in-service teachers to enrol on SWAYAM portal has now been extended to September 30 for completing the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D El Ed) course. Already 886 untrained in-service teachers from the State have registered on the portal.
Speaking to The Goan, an official of Directorate of Education (DoE) said, "Till date 886 teachers have registered on SWAYAM portal, of which 707 have paid the examination fees. As the deadline for registration has been extended, the State verification will begin after the deadline is over."
