The Office of South Goa district Collector as well as the Goa Police has issued an appeal to the people to contact the South Goa district Control Room if they come across information regarding persons missing in Nepal.
The press statement issued by the district Collector, Egna Cleetus stated that in view of the recent incident in Nepal, wherein several persons are reported to be missing/uncontactable, members of the public who have information regarding any person from South Goa who may be missing or whose whereabouts are not known are requested to immediately share the details with the authorities.
She said the information may include the name, contact number and other relevant details of the person, along with details of their family/contact persons, if available.
Such information may be reported at the nearest Police Station or through the following helplines:

The information will be compiled and shared with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to assist in tracing the persons concerned and establishing contact with their families. Members of the public are requested to share such information at the earliest, the statement added.
