SSC, HSSC Term-I exams from today

Thousands of students will begin answering from Thursday (October 10) their term 1 Secondary (SSC) and Higher Secondary (HSSC) examinations conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) at campuses across the State.

The Class X (SSC) examination will begin from Thursday at 2.30 pm and go on till November 29, while in the case of Class (XII) students, they will go on until November 30 in the various streams.

The term-1 examinations for both SSC and HSSC students is of multiple choice question (MCQ) based pattern and carries 40 marks.

The term-2 examinations will be conducted by the board in March.

The GBSHE had introduced this new pattern of conducting two terminal examinations back in 2021-22 due to the pandemic. It has however decided to continue with the same pattern this year as well.
