Sudin wins with huge margin

MG Party leader Ramkrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar proved his invincibility in Marcaim by securing the highest number of votes in the assembly polls and also winning by the largest margin.

Dhavalikar polled a whopping 17093 votes and trounced Pradeep Shet of BJP, who could secure only 3413. The other candidates, who offered virtually no fight, were Urmila alias Vindiksha Naik of Congress (1259), Surel Tilve of AAP (971) and Hanumant Naik (244). The NOTA votes were 376.  
Having served Marcaim since the last five terms, there was never any doubt about Dhavalikar’s victory and that too, by a huge margin.  
Speaking to The Goan, Dhavalikar said that it was the love and loyalty of his voters which gave him a victory by over 13,600 votes. “I wish if all Goans had showed the same love and loyalty to MG Party. If so, we would secured a majority,” said Dhavalikar.

BJP’s new recruit Mauvin registers emphatic win

Having switched over from Congress to BJP, Mauvin Godinho affirmed his supremacy in Dabolim constituency with an emphatic win over MGP candidate Premanand Nanoskar by nearly 2500 votes.
