Swachh Bharat observed at Sancoale

PANAJI: The NSS Unit of MES College of Arts & Commerce observed the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on October 2, by cleaning the neighbourhood areas of Vidyanagar Colony and Zari of Sancoale Panchayat. Nearly 200 NSS volunteers and five NSS POs namely Sanjiv K Shirodkar, Shveta S Desai, Dr S Susan Deborah, Dattaprasad D Shirgurkar and Bhiku V Bhave cleaned the neighbourhood areas and collected about 75 sacks of plastic.

The sarpanch of Sancoale panchayat, Ramakant Borkar, Principal of MES College, Dr R B Patil, social worker, Ghazala Ismael and the Vidyanagar Residents Welfare Association lauded the efforts of the college.
