A major leak developed in a water pipeline at Thane in Sattari, which was promptly repaired following the intervention of Poriem MLA Deviya Rane.

Rane took cognisance of the leakage and instructed the officials concerned to carry out the necessary repairs without delay.

Following her instructions, officials of the Department of Drinking Water (DDW) and the Public Works Department (PWD) coordinated to undertake the repair work, successfully rectifying the leak.

According to locals, issues related to water supply, roads, electricity and other civic amenities frequently arise in rural areas of Sattari taluka.

They pointed out that water pipeline leakages can lead to considerable wastage and disrupt supplies to surrounding areas. Delays in repairs can further inconvenience residents, highlighting the need for prompt action on complaints, effective coordination between departments and timely completion of repair work.
