Theft at Palolem hut

CANACONA: Valuables worth over Rs 1.31 lakh belonging to a native of Mumbai were stolen from a hut at Palolem.

According to Canacona Police, Deepak Thakur of Andheri (E), Mumbai, but presently staying at Ourem-Palolem, complained that some persons stole his bags, as the main door of the hut was open between 4 am and 6 am on January 12.

The stolen bags contained three mobile phones, one glass, one luggage bag, one bag pack, USD 150 (Rs 9750 in Indian currency), cash of Rs 32,000, debit card, all worth over Rs 1.31 lakh. Police is investigating the case.
