Third accused arrested in 8.47 kg ganja seizure case by Goa police

MARGAO:

The Goa police has arrested the third accused Richu Mahendran Pillai, a resident of Aquem, Margão in the seizure of ganja weighing 8.47 kg investigated by the Curchorem police.

Police said the accused is allegedly the main connecting link in the chain of supply of drugs.

A press release issued by the Office of South Goa District Superintendent of Police stated that the accused was supposed to receive the seized consignment in Goa and dispose it further.

He has been remanded to police custody for three days by Judicial Magistrate First Class, Margao.
