Three passengers sustained minor injuries after an inter-state Goa-Bengaluru coach skidded off the road on the NH66 at Padi on Thursday evening.
Traffic on the Margao-Canacona stretch of the Highway was disrupted for some time after the accident.
The incident is believed to have occurred at around 7 pm when the luxury bus was heading towards Bengaluru. The vehicle is believed to have skidded near a turn when it reached Padi.
Cuncolim PI Kapil Nayak informed that around three passengers have sustained minor injuries in the accident. He said the bus driver has claimed that the bus skidded off the road due to oil spill on the road. The Cuncolim police are investigating the incident.
