Traffic plan for RM's birthday bash

The Goa Traffic Police has made elaborate arrangements for the movement of vehicular traffic during the 60th birthday function of Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, on December 13, at SAG Ground, Campal from 4.30 pm onwards.
Buses coming from North Goa will come upto Kala Academy via DBB Marg and after passengers alighting the buses will be diverted for idle parking at designated lots. Buses coming from South Goa will be diverted at GMC junction to proceed via Goa University road to Miramar Circle. After passengers alighting the buses will be diverted for idle parking at designated lots. Buses from Canacona, Cuncolim, Sanguem, Sanvordem, Curchorem, Quepem, Shiroda, Poriem and Valpoi will come upto the Campal parade ground for parking. Buses from Pernem, Bicholim, Priol, Ponda and Marcaim will be parked on the Fire Brigade ground. Buses from Mayem, Sankhali, Murgao, Vasco, Dabolim, Cortalim, Fatorda, Margao and Navelim will be parked on the roadside from Adarsh Circle to St Minguel School, Taleigao and in the open space near Taleigao Church. Rest of the buses will be parked at EDC Complex Patto.
Car parking will be in the parking lot of Gymkhana Ground, Kala Academy parking lot, behind Health department and Forest department parking lot.
Two wheeler will park in the open space near Bandodkar football ground and in front of Home Science College.
