Traffic snarls were witnessed near the Comba railway crossing after a tempo dashed against the iron bar when it was being lowered down to close the crossing for a train to pass.
The tempo hit the iron bar and sped away, but left behind traffic chaos at the crossing. Given that the iron bar was hanging at the crossing, traffic had to be diverted via the Comba subway, throwing vehicular traffic to a toss.
KRC sources informed that the tempo hit the iron bar when it was lowered down to close the crossing and sped away. The number of the vehicle could not be noted down by the personnel manning the gate.
