Trio held in Vaddem car damage case

Vasco Police on Friday arrested the three accused, who had allegedly damaged a car belonging to a family near a hospital at Vaddem-Vasco.

Acting on the complaint filed by Yeshvant Bandekar that some three persons on a two-wheeler damaged his car near a hospital at Vaddem, Vasco Police arrested the trio.  
Police said they have arrested three persons including a minor boy, who allegedly damaged a car at Vaddem.  
The police added that Benjamin Fernandes (24) of Non-Mon Bhat Vasco and Rajat Khorjuvekar (22) of New Vaddem and a minor boy have been identified for damaging the car.  
Speaking to the media, Vasco PI Nolasco Raposo said they received a complaint from a couple from Vaddem on Thursday night stating that three unidentified youth on a two-wheeler damaged their car and tried to attack them near the Vaddem slope.  
PI Raposo said according to the complainant, the youth riding triple seat, smashed wooden logs onto the car. Though it was a blind case, the police could manage to gather enough information from their sources, which helped them nab the trio.  
The accused have been arrested under Section 151 of CrPC and the investigation is in progress, said PI Raposo.
