Tuem Panch threatens to stage rally to PWD office

Tuem Panch Uday Mandrekar has threatened to stage a rally to the office of PWD (water section) Pernem if it failed to solve the acute water shortage problem in Katurli and Mumursem villages in Pernem, within two days.

“Katurli and Mumurse are two wards of Tuem Panchayat, which face water shortage in summer season.

The residents have to struggle to get water, as

the PWD water supply pipeline is running dry and people are complaining,” said Mandrekar.

“We have requested our MLA Dayanand Sopte to look into the matter,” informed Mandrekar.

“Former chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar had a proposed 30 MLD water project to supply water to Mandrem constituency.”

“Sopte should now work hard to bring this project,” the panch said.
