CANACONA:
A resident of Karwar has been booked in connection with a road mishap which injured two riders at Gulem-Canacona.
According to Canacona police, the incident took place as Parshurushi Kalgutkar of Karwar was riding his scooter from Margao towards Canacona on Tuesday evening.
As he reached near the HP petrol pump at Gulem, Kalgutkar’s vehicle struck another scooter from the rear, causing injuries to the rider Prithviraj Pagi of Khola-Canacona and the pillion, Sushila Kharlor, a resident of Agonda but hailing from Meghalaya.
Canacona police registered an offence against Kalgutkar under Sections 125(a), 281, of BNS 2023 and Canacona Head Constable Anand Pagi is investigating the case.
