Two youths were injured when a motorcycle and a scooter collided with each other on the main road in Morjim on Thursday morning.
According to information, the two vehicles were proceeding in opposite directions, and while the motorcycle was driven by Pritesh Harmalkar of Gawdewada-Morjim, the scooter was driven by Sahil Shetgaonkar of Bhati Wada-Morjim. Shetgaonkar is undergoing treatment at GMC Hospital in Bambolim, while Harmalkar is being treated at the Mapusa District Hospital.
Both the vehicles were extensively damaged in the mishap. A Mandrem police team conducted the panchanama at the site and is investigating the case.
