Police nabbed two persons in Mumbai in connection with the abduction of an infant at Vasco.
According to sources, a couple and their 11-month-old baby were asleep on a footpath near Sai Baba temple and noticed the baby missing the next morning. The couple filed a complaint at the Vasco police station.
Acting on the complaint, Vasco police swung into action and acting on a tip-off, rushed to Mumbai on Thursday and nabbed both accused within 24 hours of the incident.
The accused along with the infant will be brought to the Vasco police station late Friday night and further investigation will be taken up into the incident, a source told The Goan.
