Two senior Goa Police IPS officers promoted

IPS officers Rajesh Kumar and Pankaj Kumar Singh, currently posted in Goa have been promoted by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

IPS officer Rajesh Kumar, a 2003 batch officer, who has been handling the charge of Deputy Inspector General of Goa Police, has been promoted to the rank of Inspector General of Police. 

On the other hand, Pankaj Kumar Singh, a 2008 batch IPS officer, has been promoted from the post of Superintendent of Police to the rank of SSP (Senior Superintendent of Police).

Commenting on the development, Director General of Goa Police Mukesh Kumar Meena tweeted, “My heartiest congratulations to Sh. Rajesh Kumar and Sh. Pankaj Singh on their well deserved promotions as IGP and SSP respectively. They have put in their sweat and soul in their service to the people all these years and I am certain they will continue to do so.”
