Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar apparently sees no security threat to people venturing into casinos in Goa in view of the attack in Las Vegas as he said guns were "easily available" in Las Vegas, a major gambling capital of the world.
"In Las Vegas, guns are available very easily...It's a machine gun...," said Parrikar reacting to a query from The Goan whether there was need to review security in casinos in the State in view of the Monday's attack in Las Vegas.
It may be recalled that the merciless attack on people who had gathered to witness a musical show in a casino in Las Vegas left around 59 people dead and over 500 injured.
The State has five offshore casinos floating on River Mandovi and some onshore casinos in starred hotels.
