A voter from Borim in Shiroda constituency was reportedly asked to withdraw the caricatures of three candidates from the constituency, along with words 'Vote for Right Candidate' that were posted on a social media site.

The voter, Shailesh Borkar, contacted The Goan and informed that the election flying squad had summoned him on Thursday evening and asked him to withdraw the post.

The photo depicted three caricatures of candidates from Shiroda constituency.

“They phoned me and came to meet me. They forced me to withdraw my post though there was nothing objectionable about them. In fact, I had appealed to the voters to vote for the right candidate,” Borkar said.

“The flying squad didn't stopped at that; they also forced me to speak in front of their camera admitting I had posted the caricatures,” said the voter.
