Waste Management and the constitution of the various committees marked the gram sabha of the Guirdolim panchayat on Sunday.
The meeting chaired by sarpanch Sonia Fernandes saw the issue of the MRF facility taking the centre stage at the gram sabha. The sarpanch later told the media that the gram sabha has given approval for the setting up of the MRF facility at the same site which was approved earlier.
Sarpanch Sonia further said that the meeting has constituted the Village Development Committees and other committees including the village Bio-diversity Management Committee.
Jose Antao is the new Chairman of the Village Bio-diversity management committee, the sarpanch informed.
