West Bengal youth held for drugs in Anjuna

Anjuna police arrested a youth from West Bengal on charges of possessing drugs at Anjuna in the wee hours of Thursday.

Police had received information that the accused, Bapi Jehangir Mandal (19), was involved in drugs and raided a house at about 3.30 am. Police seized 3 kgs of ganja valued at Rs 3 lakh and Rs 1.58 lakh in cash found in a bag.

The police arrested Mandal and PSI Nitesh Shingadi is investigating the case under the guidance of Police Inspector Suraj Gawas.
