A newly-married woman ended her life in a rented house at New Vaddem in Vasco on Monday evening.
Sources said that the deceased Annu Pandey and her husband got married in May and had taken a room on rent in New Vaddem around 20 day ago.
When the husband returned home from work in the evening, there was no response from inside and he peep through a window and saw the lifeless body of his wife. He alerted Vasco police and a police team conducted investigations at the site and sent the body for an autopsy. Though the motive of the suicide is unclear, Vasco police is believed to have recovered a suicide note from the house. Vasco police is investigating the case.
