The demolition of Curlies in Anjuna was a sad day for the hospitality industry, said a relative of the owner of Curlies shack.
“What have we done to deserve such an action? We have built this place from scratch and worked hard day in and day out to raise the standard of this place. This demolition is a sad day for the hospitality industry,” a relative of Edwin Nunes, Curlies owner said, with moist eyes.
She said the restaurant also took care of so many families.
“More than 150 people have been employed here and their families have been living because of this restaurant. This is not the way…,” she said, refusing to disclose her name.
