No Covid related deaths were recorded in Goa on Friday and the total Covid victim count of the state remains steady at 770.
A total of 56 new cases of the infection were detected from among the 1,417 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
While the total number of samples tested for the virus in the state has touched 4.6 lakh, the total confirmed cases have steadily climbed to 53,773 of which 52,243 have recovered and 760 are presently active. The recovery rate stands at 97.16 per cent.
A total of 28,613 persons have opted to recover under home isolation so far in Goa.
