The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday demanded the resignation of Urban Development Minister Milind Naik, after accusing him and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant of attempting to sabotage the process of democracy.
In a press release, AAP Mormugao Constituency Coordinator Parshuram Sonurlekar welcomed the decision by the High Court in quashing the reservation procedure in Mormugao Municipal Council and other municipal councils and rescheduling elections in all these five municipalities.
"This is a tight slap on the face of CM Pramod Sawant and Urban Development Minister Milind Naik who tried to sabotage the process of democracy," stated Sonurlekar.
