MARGAO
BJP alliance partner, Curtorim Independent MLA Reginaldo Lourenco on Monday cautioned Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to immediately intervene, saying that hate speeches disturbing communal harmony cannot be tolerated in Goa.
“What is happening is unbecoming of a government to allow these things in Goa. We cannot allow these things; we cannot stay silent. The accused has deeply hurt the sentiments of the Christians and those who believe in St Francis Xavier,” he said.
“My warning to the Chief Minister, please take action. What is happening is not tolerable. No one can come here and disturb our peace and amity,” he said.
