Air Arabia flight diverted to Mopa after man dies mid-flight

An Air Arabia flight from Sharjah to Kochi was diverted to Goa and made an emergency landing at Mopa airport in the wee hours of Saturday, after an 84-year-old passenger from Kottayam, Kerala, passed away mid-flight.

According to Mopa Airport police, an officer from Manohar International Airport informed that the flight made an emergency landing at Mopa after Joseph Ulahannan had passed away mid-flight.

No foul play was suspected in the death of the deceased, and after an autopsy, the body was handed over to the family for final rites.
