Top BJP leaders descended in Margao on Wednesday to hold a ballot to finalise candidates for some of the seats in Salcete.
Party leaders C T Ravi, Union Minister Kishan Reddy, Party organising secretary Satish Dhond and others were present at the party district office when the party resorted to ballots to shortlist candidates.
A host of party leaders from South Goa, who have staked a claim for the tickets, were seen in and around the office.
